Four people were injured in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the Agartala-Sabroom National Highway. They are currently undergoing treatment in the hospital.
It has been reported that a cargo truck bearing number TR081947 and a Buleru vehicle collided at Betaga signpost area in Shantirbazar sub-division in South Tripura district. As a result, the Buleru vehicle fell off the national highway and fell into a neighboring house.
Four passengers of the Buleru vehicle were seriously injured in the accident. On receiving the information, firemen rushed to rescue Biswajit Dutta, Tapan Das, Kamal Sarkar and Shankar Das and admitted them to Shantirbazar district hospital. The truck driver fled after the accident. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
