In a historic turn of events during the recent Mizoram assembly election, Baryl Vanneihsangi emerged as the youngest woman Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) in the state. The Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) celebrated a resounding victory, securing 27 seats out of the 40-member assembly, unseating the Mizo National Front (MNF) from power.
