The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) unit at Tripura University has demanded the immediate suspension of Assistant Professor Augustine Zimik. This demand follows allegations that Zimik was involved in unauthorized religious conversion activities on campus. According to reports, he allegedly collaborated with the Union of Evangelical Students of India (UESI) to carry out these activities.
ABVP members have claimed that Zimik organized and participated in religious events without prior authorization from the university administration.
