Agartala Police Recover 28 Stolen Phones

Agartala City Police have successfully recovered 28 stolen mobile phones from different parts of the city. The operation was carried out by the West Agartala Police Station team under the supervision of West Tripura Superintendent of Police (SP) Namit Pathak.

The recovery comes as a major relief for several residents who had lost their mobile phones to theft. After completing all legal formalities, police officially handed over the recovered devices to their rightful owners in a formal event. Victims expressed their gratitude to the police for their prompt action and efforts in tracking the stolen property.

SP Namit Pathak highlighted that such recoveries are part of ongoing police operations aimed at curbing mobile theft and illegal resale networks in Tripura. He added that technology and tracing methods are being increasingly used to identify and track stolen devices, making it difficult for criminals to operate freely.

RK Pur Police Solve Gold Theft Case Worth Rs 1.5 Lakh

In a separate but equally important development, the RK Pur Police cracked a gold theft case involving ornaments valued at nearly Rs 1.5 lakh.

During a press briefing held at RK Pur Police Station, Gomati District Superintendent of Police, Kiran Kumar K, announced that the stolen ornaments were successfully recovered from Bishalgarh. Police also arrested the individual who had purchased the stolen gold ornaments.

The main accused in the theft had already been arrested earlier in connection with the case. With the latest recovery, the investigation has reached a significant milestone, ensuring that both the thief and the illegal purchaser face legal action.

SP Kiran Kumar emphasized that police will not only target those directly involved in thefts but also crack down on those who encourage such crimes by purchasing stolen goods. He assured that strict legal measures will be taken against offenders to deter similar incidents in the future.

Police Appeal for Public Cooperation

Authorities from both West Tripura and Gomati districts have urged citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate with the police. Theft cases often get solved faster when victims report incidents immediately and provide accurate details.

Police further advised residents to:

Strengthening Public Trust

These back-to-back successes reflect the proactive approach of Tripura Police in tackling property-related crimes. Recoveries such as mobile phones and gold ornaments not only bring relief to victims but also strengthen public trust in law enforcement.

Citizens across Tripura welcomed the news, praising the police for their timely interventions. Officials reassured the public that dedicated teams are constantly monitoring theft networks, and more recoveries are expected in the coming months.

Conclusion
