Army Cheetah Helicopter Crashes in Arunachal Pradesh’s Tawang, pilot Died

There is bad news in the midst of preparations for Vijayadashami across the country. Army helicopter crashed in Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday. It is reported that one pilot has died in the accident. Officials informed that the accident happened when the helicopter was taking regular flight. At present, the accident is being ascertained due to the army.

Indian Army officials have informed that the helicopter crashed during routine flight around 10 am. Both the pilots were badly injured in this incident. Officials said that the pilot Colonel Saurabh Yadav died during treatment in the accident. At the same time, the treatment of other members of the team is going on. According to officials, the cause of the accident which happened in the northeastern state is yet to be ascertained. At present, the investigation is ongoing.

In December 2021, the then Chief of Defence Staff Bipin Rawat also died in a helicopter crash. During that time he was going from Sulur station of Indian Air Force to Service Staff College, Wellington, Coonoor. His Mi-17V5 helicopter crashed during the journey. His wife and 9 others were killed in the incident.
