Assam BJP president Dilip Saikia announced that the BJP Legislature Party and NDA Legislature Party meetings will take place on May 10. During the meetings, legislators will discuss the formation of the new government and officially select the leader of the legislature party.
Saikia said BJP national president J. P. Nadda and Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini will attend the meetings. Their participation has increased political excitement in the state ahead of the swearing-in event.
