Guwahati, November 12, 2025: The Government of Assam officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Google LLC on November 11, 2025, under which Google will assist the state in deploying artificial-intelligence tools and digital-solutions to enhance administration, citizen service delivery and data-driven governance.
This pact marks a major step in Assam’s digital-transformation journey, as it positions the state to become a hub for ethical, accountable AI-enabled governance in India’s northeast.
