BJP Dismisses Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra as a Mere Spectacle

In a recent statement, Union Minister Kiren Rijiju vehemently criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, dismissing it as inconsequential and merely for personal enjoyment. Rijiju, addressing the media in Assam’s Golaghat, asserted that the BJP’s Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is the one truly aimed at benefiting the people.

The Union Minister questioned the significance of Rahul Gandhi’s yatra, emphasizing that it lacks substance and is nothing more than a source of amusement for the Congress leader. According to Rijiju, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra undertaken by the BJP is focused on delivering tangible benefits to the public, unlike Rahul Gandhi’s purportedly frivolous journey.

“I don’t understand why people are talking about his Nyay Yatra. It does not mean anything to us. If he does a yatra for his enjoyment, how will it benefit the people? His Yatra is for his fun; it is not going to benefit anyone,” remarked Rijiju, challenging the legitimacy and impact of Rahul Gandhi’s upcoming endeavor.

Rijiju did not hold back in his criticism, characterizing Rahul Gandhi as immature and likening his actions to that of a child. He questioned the promotion of Gandhi by Congress and leftists, asserting that he is not essential for the country. According to Rijiju, Rahul Gandhi’s statements are often controversial, and he has failed to contribute positively to the nation. The Union Minister went on to emphasize that Prime Minister Modi’s schemes are of greater importance for the country.

This sharp critique from Rijiju comes ahead of Rahul Gandhi’s much-publicized Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, scheduled to commence from Manipur on January 14, 2024. The yatra is slated to cover an extensive 6700 km, spanning 110 districts, with a significant focus on Assam. Despite the ambitious route map, Rijiju’s comments suggest that the BJP remains unimpressed with the intentions and impact of Rahul Gandhi’s political journey.

The upcoming yatra, named “Badlega Bharat, Jeetega INDIA!”, aims to symbolize unity and change for a better India. However, with the BJP dismissing it as a mere spectacle for personal enjoyment, it remains to be seen how Rahul Gandhi’s journey will resonate with the public and whether it will indeed bring about the desired positive transformation.
