The Institution of Engineers (India), Tripura State Centre, organized a seminar on “How to Develop the Existing Small Industrial Scenario in Tripura” on 30th August 2025 at the Seminar Hall of IEI, Agartala, in connection with Small Industry Day celebrations.
The seminar brought together engineers, industry experts, entrepreneurs, and government officials to discuss strategies for strengthening Tripura’s small-scale industrial sector. Key discussions focused on modernizing existing industries, skill development, adoption of new technologies, and improving access to financial and infrastructural support.
Experts emphasized the importance of government policies and incentives to help local entrepreneurs overcome operational challenges and compete effectively in national and international markets. The seminar also highlighted opportunities for collaboration between small industries, academic institutions, and industry associations to foster innovation and sustainable growth.
