At 6:04 pm on Wednesday, India’s lunar rover 3 successfully landed on the moon’s surface, marking a momentous milestone in the country’s space exploration endeavors. The populace of Agartala city, along with local celebrities, came together to celebrate this joyous occasion at a popular weekend tourist hub located in front of the entrance gate of the royal palace. Even Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha joined in the celebrations, further adding to the exuberance of the event. State BJP president Rajeev Bhattacharya and several other prominent personalities were also in attendance, sharing in the collective joy of the momentous feat. Reports have also come in that citizens from various parts of Tripura have united in celebrating the successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 on the lunar terrain.

With this achievement, India proudly takes its place as the first nation in the world to touch the southern pole of the moon. Reacting to this triumphant news, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha expressed his elation, stating, “India has conquered the Moon.” He emphasized that after the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3 on the moon, India’s international reputation as a leading global nation has been significantly elevated.

Rajeev Bhattacharya, President of the Tripura BJP, added his perspective, stating, “India has once again reclaimed its position as the premier nation in the world.” Today, even the state Congress shared in the collective joy brought by this news. This historic achievement is being hailed as a day of immense pride for all Indians. Jitendra Chowdhury, the State Secretary of CPIM, extended his greetings to all the scientists at ISRO, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

In the wake of India’s success, jubilant scenes unfolded as leaders and workers of both the BJP and the National Congress took to bursting fireworks in front of their respective party offices. This expression of happiness symbolized their immense satisfaction and pride in India’s remarkable accomplishment.
