Know BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharya Plan for Victory

Newly appointed BJP state president Rajeev Bhattacharya on Friday urged party leaders and workers to work hard to secure a landslide victory in the 2023 assembly elections. He said that we can get victory only due to hard work before the elections. Assembly elections are to be held for 60 seats in the state in March next year.

Talking to reporters, he said, ‘The BJP high command has given me a huge responsibility by making me the state president. I will continue to work for the strength of the organization. He said that BJP has reposed faith in him and that instead, we need to work hard. Bhattacharya joined the BJP in 1991. He has worked with full capabilities in various positions in the organization. He previously held the positions of Treasurer and Vice President. He is considered very close to former Chief Minister Biplab Dev.

“I am grateful to BJP National President JP Nadda, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for giving me the leadership of the party in Tripura and reposing faith in me,” he said. I will work under the guidance of party leaders to ensure my victory in the 2023 elections. We will win with more seats in the coming elections. Earlier in the 2018 assembly elections, the BJP had won 36 out of 60 seats.

Bhattacharya said, “Our national president JP Nadda will begin his two-day tour of the state from August 28. His stay means the beginning of the election campaign. I urge all of you to make his rally a success. After officially taking over as the state president, Bhattacharya offered prayers at the Tripuraswari temple in Udaipur. Earlier, Chief Minister Manik Saha was made the state president on January 15, 2020. Saha took over as the chief minister on May 14, replacing Biplab Dev.
