Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh distributed financial assistance to 2,835 eligible beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) Scheme on September 17.
The programme took place at Yumnam Leikai Yumjao Lairembi Lampak in Imphal. The initiative aims to support small and unorganised food-processing businesses across the state. It seeks to help entrepreneurs improve their operations, expand their businesses and enter the formal economy.
