Construction of the new Meghalaya Legislative Assembly building at Mawdiangdiang is progressing satisfactorily and remains on schedule for completion within the planned timeline, Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Thomas A. Sangma said after chairing a review meeting on May 20.
The meeting reviewed the current status of construction work and examined infrastructure-related preparations associated with the upcoming Assembly complex. Senior government officials, technical consultants, and representatives from multiple departments participated in the discussions to assess project progress and implementation timelines.
