Keeping Dhanbad clean is the responsibility of its citizens — Hon’ble Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan
The International Clean Air Day was organized by the Dhanbad Municipal Corporation at New Town Hall, Dhanbad. The program was inaugurated by jointly lighting the lamp by Ravi Raj Sharma, Municipal Commissioner Dhanbad; Aditya Ranjan, Deputy Commissioner Dhanbad; Sukumar Mishra, Director, IIT ISM Dhanbad; Ramkumar Singh, Vice Chancellor, Vinod Bihari Mahto Koyalanchal University Dhanbad; Vikas Palimar, DFO Dhanbad; Rajesh Kumar, SDM Dhanbad; and Suresh Pandey, DSE, IIT ISM Dhanbad.
Addressing the ceremony, Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan said that keeping Dhanbad clean is not just the responsibility of the government, but also of the citizens, and everyone must contribute to it.
On this occasion, students from various schools participated in debate competitions, poster-making competitions, and model exhibitions. Students who performed excellently were awarded by the Municipal Corporation.
Meanwhile, Ravi Nishad, the founder of Jai Dharti Maa Foundation, was honored by Deputy Commissioner Aditya Ranjan for his outstanding contribution in the field of environmental protection. Along with this, Saathi Foundation and My Bharat organizations were also awarded.
On this achievement, the co-founder of Jai Dharti Maa Foundation Ranjit Kumar, Tribal Welfare Officer Sudhir Hembram, Program Officer Shamsher Ali, District Secretary Sahdev Mahato, Jharia Block In-charge Rahmat Ali, and others congratulated and extended best wishes to the Foundation Director Ravi Kumar Nishad.
