On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, a patriotic gathering was आयोजित, where 11 prominent individuals were honored with the Delhi Ratna Award 2026.

New Delhi, March 22, 2026:
An event titled “Ek Shaam Shaheedon Ke Naam” (An Evening Dedicated to Martyrs) along with the Delhi Ratna Awards 2026 was organized at Palika Park, Connaught Place, with the support of RWA Karampura, by Bharat Manch Trust and Main Tera Haan Foundation. During this program, 11 distinguished individuals from across the country were honored with the Delhi Ratna Award 2026 for their outstanding contributions in their respective fields.

The chief guests of the event included BJP National General Secretary Dushyant Gautam, Raghvendra Bhagat Singh (grandson of Bhagat Singh), and Bollywood actress Hema Sharma. Dr. Sarabjit Singh, Chairman of Main Tera Haan Foundation, said, “The purpose of organizing this Martyrs’ Day event is to instill a sense of respect for martyrs and to promote patriotism among the people, especially the youth.”

Naresh Kumar, President of RWA Karampura, honored the attendees and expressed gratitude to everyone for the success of the program. Dr. Prashant Dwivedi, President of Bharat Manch Trust, said, “Bharat Manch organizes a cultural program and the Delhi Ratna Award ceremony every year, where, with government support, distinguished individuals from across the country are honored.”

On this occasion, cultural and patriotic performances were presented by Sahitya Kala Parishad and Punjabi Academy, Delhi Government, which captivated the audience. A large number of invited members, parents, and teachers were present at the event.
