Schools and Anganwadi Centres Closed
Authorities ordered all schools and anganwadi centres in affected areas to shut down. Roads were unsafe, and many buildings were surrounded by water.
Parents supported the move. Furthermore, they said keeping children home was the safest choice.
Relief Camps Provide Shelter
The district administration set up more than ten relief camps across South Tripura. Families took shelter in community halls and school buildings.
