Mumbai Indians eliminates Delhi Capitals from IPL 2022 on Saturday. The target of 160 runs was chased down by Mumbai Indians by five wickets and five balls remaining.
After losing their Do-or-Die match against Mumbai Indians Rishabh Pant said he felt that Tim David had nicked the first delivery he faced, but didn’t go for the review as most of his teammates inside the circle were not convinced, a decision which cost them a place in the IPL play-offs.
“I thought there was something, but everyone standing in the circle was not convinced enough. So I was asking should we go up. At the end, I didn’t take the review,” said Pant after their match on Saturday as they end their journey for IPL 2022.
The magical bowling by Jasprit Bumrah made the Delhi Capitals in trouble by taking out Marsh on a first delivery with fine diving catch by the skipper Rohit Sharma. The magnificent spells by Bumrah were fascinating to see, but very difficult for the batsmen to counter.
