The government is working to deliver electricity services to every town in the state Since the present government came to power, 44 new power substations have been constructed in the state so far 8 more substations will be commissioned Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debvarma said this while inaugurating the newly constructed 33/11 KV power substation at Jangaliya in Vishalgarh today. 4 Crores have been spent on the construction of this substation This substation has been built with the financial support of NHIDCL
Inaugurating the electricity substation, the Deputy Chief Minister also said that the aim of the state government is to provide proper electricity service to the consumers. Power transmission lines in the state have not been replaced for many years The current government is working on changing the lines completely As the present government is working with transparency, it is possible to deliver electricity service, drinking water to every house Supriya Das Dutta, Chairman of Sipahizla Zilla Parishad, Rakhi Das Kar, Chairman of Charilam Payet Samiti, Bijesh Pandey, Secretary of Electricity Department, Debashis Sarkar, Managing Director of TSECL and others were present in the event.
