Agartala, August 18, 2025: The Teachers Recruitment Board, Tripura (TRBT) has issued an official notification for the Selection Test for Post Graduate Teacher (STPGT) 2025, inviting applications from eligible Indian nationals who are permanent residents of Tripura.
A total of 1,033 vacancies have been announced for Post Graduate Teachers (Class XI–XII) under the Directorate of Secondary Education, Education (School) Department, Government of Tripura.
Subject-wise Vacancies
The highest number of vacancies are in Computer Science (118), followed by:
- Geography – 105
- History – 93
- English – 92
- Political Science – 92
- Psychology – 84
- Bengali – 81
- Philosophy – 66
- Chemistry – 59
- Physics – 55
- Mathematics – 52
- Others (remaining subjects included in notification)
Reservation Details
Vacancies are distributed across UR, SC, and ST categories, with specific reservations for persons with disabilities (Blind & Low Vision, Partially Deaf & Hard of Hearing, Loco-motor Disability) and ex-servicemen.
Additionally, a 33% horizontal reservation for women will be applied across both reserved and unreserved categories, in line with the GA (P&T) Department notification dated June 28, 2022.

- Online Application Submission: August 29, 2025 (from 4:00 PM) to September 15, 2025 (till 4:00 PM)
- Last Date of Fee Payment: September 17, 2025 (till 4:00 PM)
- Date of Examination: November 2, 2025 (Sunday)
- Exam Timing: 12:00 Noon to 2:30 PM (2 hours 30 minutes)
- Exam Venue: Agartala (exact details to be mentioned in admit card)
