Tripura Assembly Implements Tight Security Measures Ahead of 8th Session Starting September 19

Agartala: The Tripura Legislative Assembly has announced strict security protocols ahead of the 8th session of the ongoing 13th Assembly, scheduled to begin on September 19. According to an official notification issued by the Assembly Secretariat, no individual or vehicle will be permitted inside the Assembly premises without a valid entry pass issued in advance.

The notification highlights that all Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), media representatives, and even Assembly staff must carry and present their authorized entry passes when requested by security personnel stationed at the entry points. Without the required passes, entry into the Assembly building or its compound will not be permitted.
