Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has called for greater use of technology and youth ideas to accelerate innovation and development in the state. Speaking at a programme in Agartala, Saha said Tripura has a strong pool of talented students and young people. However, he stressed that technology can help convert their ideas into practical solutions.
He made the remarks while inaugurating the Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026, Mukhyamantri Yuva Samachar Yojana for the 2025-26 academic year and DG-Swapne 3.0. The event also marked the inauguration of the renovated Matangini Pritilata Auditorium at Women’s College.

10 Entrepreneurs Receive ₹10 Lakh Grants
During the programme, Chief Minister Manik Saha handed over grants of ₹10 lakh each to 10 young entrepreneurs.
The beneficiaries will use the grants to support their startup ventures. The initiative therefore aims to provide financial assistance to young people who are developing entrepreneurial projects.
