Agartala, Tripura: The Tripura Government will launch three initiatives focusing on innovation, youth empowerment, digital connectivity and entrepreneurship on October 1, 2026. The Directorate of Information Technology will organise the programme at Women’s College in Agartala under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan. Three Initiatives to Drive Innovation

AIC-SMUTBI will implement the programme in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.
The programme will strengthen support for startups and emerging entrepreneurs in Tripura. In addition, the event will feature a cheque distribution ceremony for selected startups under Digi-SAPNE 2.0.
This financial support will continue the state’s efforts to encourage innovation-led enterprises and entrepreneurship.
Senior Officials to Attend
Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha will launch the three initiatives and address the gathering.
Several senior government officials, academic representatives and members of the startup and innovation ecosystem will also attend the programme.
The scheduled attendees include Information Technology and Finance Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman and IT and Finance Secretary Dr. Parshant Kumar Goyal.
IT Director Jeya Ragul Geshan B., IFS, and Sikkim Manipal University Vice Chancellor Dr. Gopalakrishna Prabhu will also participate.
