Tripura is the best State Among The Smaller States In The Country: PM

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today before Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala that Tripura is the best state among the small states in the country. He also praised Swachh Tripura and stated that Tripura is one of the best states with respect to transparency.

After virtually inaugurating the state’s first hotel management college and a dental medical college he said this is the first dental college and hotel management college in Tripura. As a result, Tripura students no longer need to go overseas to study dentistry and hotel management courses.

Virtually inaugurated over 200,000 PM Awas Yojana houses he said, from now this two lakhs people have become millionaires because of this house built at the cost of millions of rupees. Manik Saha and his team are working hard on these tasks. PM thanks to Tripura CM for that too.

PM said ‘I noticed today even on my way here from MBB airport that the people of this state prefer the BJP government because such a large number of people were waiting to welcome me on both sides of the airport road that I had never seen before’.

PM said Tripura was earlier known for two reasons. One is during the elections and the other is due to militant activities. And now, Tripura is remembered across the Country for her good governance and transparency. From the national highway to the expansion of the railways, work is in progress. Tripura’s road and rail connectivity will improve in the next few days. It will make life easier for the people of the state. If the new railway line Agartala-Akhaura is finished next year, the activity of the State will grow. All these road and rail networks will increase communication with Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Thailand. Today you are also getting the result of improving the internet network of Tripura, PM said. PM also said that the optical fiber internet networks have reached almost everywhere in the state.

The Prime Minister added that 7,000 health and wellness centers are under construction in the Northeast under the Ayushman Bharat Yojana. Out of these 1000 centers are being built in Tripura. Ayushman Bharat Yojana will provide free healthcare for four lakh poor people in Tripura.
Mentioning the new gas system, PM said, gas pipelines are delivered door to door throughout the state. This will reduce the problem of cooking gas. According to the PM, the government’s water supply for the pipeline has also increased.

Emphasizing the digital ration card and the ration distribution system, the PM said that it stopped the theft of rations and that mothers are the main beneficiaries of all these things.

Referring to the PM pushan scheme, PM said, Rs 1000 is being given to all the poor mothers for the supply of postnatal nutrition for all the poor mothers.

Appreciating SHG’s activities in Tripura, the PM said the government’s financial support for women’s self-help groups has increased nine-fold.
Criticizing the previous government on certain issues, said the PM, the previous government left the village and the poor hills behind. The left government has not done anything for the people of the hills. But it is the poor who benefit the most from the establishment of a dual-engine government, he claimed.

Without mentioning the names of political parties, the Prime Minister said that some people always try to create discord between people by expressing ‘desperation’. But they will never succeed, PM said.

According to the PM, the people of Tripura from all sections of the caste have learned to know who wants the population of Tripura to grow. So their ‘disappointment’ campaign will not be effective in any way, he further said.

While speaking on the increase of about employment problems, the prime minister said that the double engine government can increase the income of Tripura’s unemployed youth of Tripura and efforts are underway to make Tripura’s local products globally to reduce sun employment in the state. Bamboo and rubber here can be delivered to the world and the effort will go on in the future, the Prime Minister said.
