Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles, Pabitra Margherita, arrived in Agartala on Wednesday afternoon for a three-day visit that aims to review progress on multiple development projects and engage with local communities in Tripura. Shortly after his arrival, Margherita met with Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu and Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha, discussing the status of various initiatives and strategies to further the state’s growth.
In this first leg of his visit, Margherita emphasized the importance of close cooperation between central and state governments. He expressed the Union government’s commitment to prioritizing regional development and improving connectivity in the Northeastern states. Tripura, he noted, has seen promising progress on infrastructure projects, and he wants to ensure that such advancements are sustained.
