Scindia Highlights Arunachal Growth Investment in Road and Air Connectivity
Speaking at an event in Itanagar, Scindia highlighted several big-ticket projects in the pipeline. The Centre has prioritized roads, tunnels, and airports to ensure Arunachal growth investment translates into long-term benefits.

He added that the recent completion of the Donyi Polo Airport is just the beginning. Scindia cited the upcoming Sela Tunnel, the Trans-Arunachal Highway, and frontier railway lines as evidence of this intent. These projects form the backbone of the Arunachal growth investment and will open up markets for local goods.
He also noted that the government is working to make the region energy self-sufficient. Arunachal has the capacity to produce over 50,000 MW of clean hydropower. This could make it a major power exporter within the Northeast.
