Dil Bar Irshad, a journalist hailing from Jammu Kashmir’s Doda, has become a new sensation in the field of media and journalism.
A struggler from Marmat area of Doda, who started his career as a reporter on the digital portal Voice of Masses (VoM News ), has built his legacy in international journalism too, and also got rewarded with different awards.
After basic schooling, Dil Bar expressed his keen interest in doing live coverage of sports events locally. Later on, Dil covered the wrestling event held in Doda’s Marmat area. Dil started his media career in 2015-16 through VoM News, which he founded, earlier also called Voice of Marmat.
After completing his graduation in Science, Dil pursued a Bachelor of Journalism degree from IGNOU. As Dil has been interested in reporting environmental concerns/issues, he completed M.Sc. EVs from HNB Garhwal University, Uttarakhand.
Dil completed Masters in Journalism & Mass Communication from Swami Vivekananda University in 2022-2023 also.

A look at his media career shows that Dil Bar Irshad is the Editor-in-chief of VoM News Portal. He started his career as a reporter in 2015-16 and has been a journalist ever since. Dil has worked as a District Correspondent, Doda for English Newspaper Khalsa Express News in 2019-2020. He also worked with the Urdu newspaper Sada e Kohistan as an Urdu correspondent. Afterwards, Dil worked with Millennium Post as Jk Correspondent.
In 2023, Dil Bar started working as an international correspondent for Global News Agency – BNN. For BNN, Dil worked as India Correspondent, covering news from all arenas, including J-k news, breaking stories, and stock market updates. In 2024, Dil joined TrimFeed – another Global News Agency as Correspondent International till present.
