Tripura, 19 Oct 2025; Making the Tiprasa community proud, Janas Jamatia, a resident of Twirisa village under Teliamura, has become the first individual from the Tiprasa community to secure a nursing job in Tokyo, Japan.
Coming from a humble background, Janas received crucial support from the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) during his training period. His dedication and hard work have now earned him a five-year employment contract in Tokyo as a nurse.
Today, TTAADC Chief Executive Member (CEM) Purna Chandra Jamatia and Executive Member (EM) Kamal Kalai visited Janas Jamatia’s home to congratulate him and extended personal financial assistance as a gesture of encouragement.
CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia wrote on social media:
“Today, I visited Shri Janas Jamatia’s residence, Twirisa Kami, Teliamura, who has secured employment in Japan with the support of Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma and sponsorship from the TTAADC for his training. He is the first ever individual from our Tiprasa community to receive a job opportunity in Tokyo, Japan. I also extended some personal financial assistance to him as a gesture of encouragement.”
The CEM further expressed hope that after completing his five-year contract, Janas will have greater career opportunities ahead. Among all the trainees sponsored by the TTAADC, Janas Jamatia is the only one to have successfully received such an international placement in the healthcare sector.
