Khowai, October 15, 2026: Tripura Forest Minister Animesh Debbarma inaugurated the newly constructed classrooms and laboratories at Asharambari Higher Secondary School in his own Assembly constituency on Thursday. The newly developed infrastructure includes three classrooms and three laboratories, aimed at strengthening educational facilities and improving the learning environment for students.
The programme was attended by the Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Khowai, the Block Development Officer (BDO) of Tulashikhar, and other officials.
Addressing the gathering, Minister Animesh Debbarma emphasised that development should be measured by the positive changes it brings to people’s lives, rather than merely by the size of buildings or the number of projects announced. He stressed that public infrastructure must be completed on time, properly maintained and made useful for the people.
Speaking about his connection with Khowai, the Minister said that his roots in Khowai are an integral part of his identity, and his responsibility extends to every citizen of Tripura. He also highlighted the importance of improving educational facilities, creating opportunities for young people and supporting local development.
The Minister further called for a results-oriented approach to development, urging officials and public representatives to ensure that government initiatives translate into tangible benefits for ordinary people.
The inauguration marks another step towards strengthening educational infrastructure in Khowai district and providing students with better facilities for learning and practical education.
