There is no compromise on the Greater Tipraland issue in the Assembly elections in Tripura. TIPRA Motha supremo and MDC Pradyot Kishore Debbarma clarified this with a message to stand by IPFT.

After a long time after recovering from physical illness, he came on Facebook live on yesterday evening and without naming anyone, he made a strong complaint against the ruling party BJP. However, he gave a message of a united fight while keeping the door closed for an alliance with the Congress and the Left.

On this day, he evoked the memory of the incident of firing at Madhavbari protest against the Citizenship Amendment Act four years ago on January 8. Targeting the ruling party BJP and the Tripura government, he said that no political party was attacked on Tiprasa that day. Therefore, he has called to observe the black day tomorrow on January 8 in protest against the incident. He alleged that the government did not take legal action against a single police officer in that incident.

He said that in every election, the central leaders of the National Party do the job of fooling the people. They left the state as soon as the election phase was over. In that, the common people are ultimately affected. He made it clear that there is no compromise on the issue of Greater Tipraland in the upcoming assembly elections. The final battle will be fought for future generations, the soil and people of Tripura.

Being somewhat emotional, Pradyot claimed that he did not know how long he would live. But, not for power. I want a positive fight to restore people’s rights and put people in power. His request is not to spread hate, but to fight with a healthy mentality. He called, Tiprasa should be united.

He wants IPFT to stand by his call for unity. Because, when the slogan is one, in the absence of Narendra Chandra Debbarma, IPFT should unite with TIPRA Motha in the assembly elections, he made a desperate appeal.

According to him, whatever name you like, but I want to enter the vote battle on the same symbol in the assembly elections. In this case, he wants to give the IPFT the responsibility of deciding the combined name of the two parties.

Significantly, today he has distanced himself from the question of alliance with the Congress and the Left. He repeatedly targeted the ruling BJP without naming it. As a result, the political circles think that public sentiment will be Pradyot’s trump card in the assembly elections. It is for that purpose that he gave an open message to pull the IPFT closer as soon as the elections began in the first year of the year.
