According to the latest Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) report, Reliance Jio has emerged as a dominant force in the North East region, demonstrating substantial growth by acquiring 28,294 new mobile subscribers in January 2024. Meanwhile, its closest competitor, Airtel, experienced a decline, shedding 2,379 subscribers in the same period.

This regional success reflects a broader trend nationwide, where Reliance Jio has solidified its position as a market leader. On a national scale, Jio witnessed a remarkable increase of 41.78 lakh new subscribers in January, surpassing Airtel’s growth of 752,853 subscribers.
