The Health & Family Welfare Department of the Government of Tripura is inviting online applications for the recruitment of Pharmacists (Allopathy) on a purely temporary and fixed pay basis. The selected candidates will receive a salary of ₹20,475/-, which is 75% of the entry Pay Level-9 of the Tripura State Civil Services (Revised Pay) (First Amendment) Rules, 2018, along with additional remuneration as determined by the government.
Eligible candidates who are permanent residents of Tripura and fall within the age limit of 18 to 40 years can apply for the post. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for ST/SC/PwDs(PH)/Government servants.
Vacancies: 200 posts [SC-32, ST-59, UR-109]
Out of the total vacancies, 8 posts are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (UR-4, ST-3, SC-1). Additionally, 4% of the total vacancies are reserved for PwD candidates. Furthermore, 33% of the vacancies in each category are reserved for women as per the GA(P&T) Department’s Notification No. F.23(17)-GA(P&T)/2022 dated 28th June 2022.
Educational Qualification:
- H.S. (+2 Stage) with Science from a recognized institute.
- Diploma in Pharmacy from an institute recognized by PCI, OR Bachelor in Pharmacy or Bachelor in Pharmacy (Practice) from an institute recognized by PCI.
- Registered as a Pharmacist with the Tripura State Pharmacy Council, holding a valid registration certificate issued by the Council. Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali or Kokborok.
The selection of candidates will be done through a written examination followed by a viva voce/interview. Applications received after the closing date will not be entertained. No TA & DA will be provided for the written examination or interview.
