Joint Operation of Assam Rifles and Tripura Police, 386 kg of Marijuana Seized


In a major crackdown on drug peddlers, Assam Rifles in a joint operation with Tripura Police seized 386 kg of marijuana and arrested one person, released from Assam Rifles according to official press.

According to the press release, Radhanagar Battalion of 21 Sector of Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Inspector General Assam Rifles (East), seized 386 kg of marijuana worth Rs 1.5 crore from Mungiakami police station area of ​​Dhalai district of Tripura. ,

According to Assam Rifles, “Based on reliable information a joint operation was launched by Radhanagar Battalion and Mungiakami PS. The team seized 386 kg of marijuana worth Rs 1.5 crore and arrested a driver named Mr. Lalan Roy along with a vehicle.”
