KVK Organizes Successful Interactive Session for Farmers and Fishermen in Tripura

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Sepahijala organized a successful interactive session between farmers, fishermen, and scientists at Latiacherra under Jampui Jala subdivision in Sepahijala district, as reported by an article. The event was attended by various dignitaries, including Dr. Shatavisha Sarkar, senior scientist and head of KVK Sipahijala, Dr. L.M. Garnayak, Director (Research) of Central Agricultural University (CAU) in Manipur, Professor Dr. Ratan Kumar Saha, Dean of the College of Fisheries in Lembucherra, and Mr. Ramanuj Chakraborty, SMS Fisheries. The experts interacted with the farmers and fishermen and shared their knowledge on agriculture, fisheries, and horticulture. They also elaborated on the DBT program and visited the field work to offer suitable advice to the farmers and fishermen. The interactive session was well-attended and successful in educating the participants on the finer aspects of farming and fisheries.
