Shillong – In a significant development, Ampreen Lyngdoh, a prominent leader of the National People’s Party (NPP) and a Minister in the Meghalaya government, has underscored the government’s primary responsibility to deliberate on the roster system in accordance with a directive issued by the High Court.
The roster system, which pertains to the allocation of reserved seats for various categories in educational institutions and government jobs, has been a subject of ongoing discussion in Meghalaya. Minister Ampreen Lyngdoh emphasized that the government’s mandate is solely focused on addressing the roster system issue, as directed by the High Court.
