There is no major violence in the ADC area in Tripura. The assembly elections are just around the corner, and the preparations are going on very well. Talking about the elections, the Chief Electoral Officer said that only 54 complaints have come. This is far below in comparison to 370 written complaints in the year 2018 polls.

The Chief Electoral officer of Tripura, Kiran Dinkarrao Gitte, said that about 1128 poll stations come under the sensitive category. And for these polling booths, some special safety measures will be deployed ahead of the election. Gitte also said that the sensitivity of the polling booths was considered looking back at previous data. After analyzing all past data, it is set on extra security.

The 54 complaints that have come this year are very low. And it is also a good thing as it shows improvement. As soon as the complaints were received immediate actions were taken against it. A lot of special armed forces have come to Tripura for the security of elections.
