The Business 20 (B20) was established to give the business sector a place to interact with the Group of Twenty (G20) and make suggestions for policies that would promote economic growth and development on a global scale.
India’s assumption to take the Group of Twenty (G20) presidency from December 1, 2022, to November 30, 2023, and its consecutive meetings throughout various states.
The Confederation of Indian Industry will host the Business 20 events in four states of Northeast India to explore collaborations between business communities from the Group of Twenty member nations to build a shared agenda for the development of vital sectors of the economy as a growth engine.
The Business 20 (B20) programs will be held in Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Sikkim by the Confederation of Indian Industry in partnership with the Ministry of External Affairs and the Northeastern state governments.
These Business 20 programs will illustrate the opportunity for multilateral business relationships in industries where the Northeastern states have competitive advantages as well as the potential that the region’s northeast provides for both foreign and domestic investors.
