According to a source, the Election Commission of India announced that sixty seats in Tripura will be staging the 13th Tripura Assembly election in the state.
The deadline for candidates to submit their nomination papers has been extended until January 30. The deadline to withdraw from consideration is February 2, and the inspection will take place on January 31.
According to the timeline, voting in the 60 Assembly districts will take place on February 16 and the results will be announced on March 2.
The Additional Chief Electoral Officer stated that protective measures have been reinforced throughout the northeastern state, and central paramilitary troops are conducting area control operations to boost voter trust for the upcoming Tripura assembly election.
