Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be on a day-long visit to Tripura on December 18 to launch the campaign for the 2023 assembly elections in the state and also hold a meeting of the BJP’s core committee. According to a source, the discussion during the meeting will focus on planning the election strategy. He will also meet BJP MLAs, the source said. He will be given a grand welcome. The Prime Minister will also address a public meeting at the Swami Vivekananda Stadium in Agartala and inaugurate some projects, as well as lay the foundation stone for some others. Assembly elections in Tripura are likely to be held in early 2023.
