Fighters from Tripura Legends, a Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) team, visited the Ujjayanta Palace today and met with Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma to discuss the present state of the sport and the challenges faced by young athletes in Tripura.
During the meeting, the fighters spoke about the need for greater support, better facilities, and more opportunities to grow MMA in the state. They said that with encouragement and resources, athletes from Tripura could achieve success at both the national and international level.
Pradyot, who is also an MMA enthusiast, assured the team of his full support in their journey. He stated that the fighters have the talent and determination to bring recognition to Tripura and promised to stand by them in all their future efforts.
“As an MMA enthusiast myself, I assured them of my full support in all their future efforts,” Pradyot said after the meeting.
The Tripura Legends fighters expressed their gratitude for the assurance and said they were hopeful about the future of the sport in the state following the interaction.
