Tipra Motha chief and royal scion Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma on Monday visited several villages across Tripura to participate in the celebrations of Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya’s birth anniversary. The event turned into a vibrant display of unity, as people from different castes, communities, and faiths came together to honor the legacy of the late Maharaja, widely regarded as the “Architect of Modern Tripura.”
During his visit, Pradyot expressed his happiness at the overwhelming participation of people from all walks of life. “I am happy to see people across caste, community, and faith come together to celebrate his birth anniversary,” he said, emphasizing the importance of unity and inclusiveness in preserving Tripura’s cultural heritage.

He urged the younger generation to take inspiration from his contributions and to carry forward the ideals of equality and development. “Maharaja Bir Bikram dreamt of a progressive Tripura, and it is our duty to continue his legacy by ensuring unity, education, and opportunities for all,” he remarked.
