Dr. Rajeev Menon, National Organization General Secretary of the Republican Party said that Rahul Gandhi’s decision to leave Wayanad Lok Sabha constituency is a betrayal to the people of Wayanad. Rahul Gandhi who used to say that Wayanad is my family now says that Rae Bareli is his family. Earlier it was Amethi. It must be said that Rahul Gandhi has repeated the politics of sticking to the people in Wayanad as well. There is no other coward in Indian politics like Rahul Gandhi. He is proving to be good at manipulating people. Rahul did not even show the morals to say about contesting in Rae Bareli before the Wayanad elections. Everyone voted for Rahul Gandhi to become MP in Wayanad. But Dr. Rajeev Menon openly said that the sudden change is a setback for everyone who voted.
Congress strategically announced Rahul’s candidature in Rae Bareli after the polling in Wayanad. Earlier there were rumors that Rahul would contest in two places, but the party kept it under wraps for fear of losing votes. People of Wayanad are against Rahul Gandhi’s resignation.
More than a national leader, most of the voters see Rahul as one of their own. It is a reflection of the lead this time as well. Even then Rahul Gandhi did not give any kind of warning to the loyal voters of Wayanad, it is a big fraud. The Gandhi family is clinging to the families of Wayanad. Now Priyanka is being stopped and people are being fooled again. Dr. Rajeev Menon also criticized Rahul Gandhi’s withdrawal from Wayanad as a step that does not suit political ethics. This is political injustice. There is nothing wrong with Rahul Gandhi contesting in two constituencies as the constitution dictates.
