Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday said the responsibility of his government has increased significantly after the party’s electoral victory, adding that his administration will work harder to fulfil the expectations of the people.

Speaking at a public event in Assam, Sarma thanked the citizens for placing their trust in the government and assured that development, welfare, and good governance would remain top priorities. He said the election result reflected the confidence of the people in the government’s policies and programmes.
