Pujya Gurudev Sadamalananda Nadha, born Venkatramana on September 13, 1967, in Hyderabad, is celebrated for his profound contributions to Sri Vidya Upasana. The fifth son of devout parents Sri Ananth Padmanabha Murthy and Smt. Venkata Subhalakshmi, Venkatramana’s early life was marked by a deep spiritual inclination and frequent pilgrimages to the sacred site of Srisailam, which he visited over 250 times.

A pivotal moment in his spiritual journey occurred in 1981 at the Kanchi Kamakoti Peetham, where he received his first Beeja Mantra Upadesa from the Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Sri Sri Sri Chandra Shekara Maha Swamy. This initiation was followed by a deeper engagement with Siddha Samadhi Yoga in 1983 under Guru Sri Sarangapaniji, leading to his second Beeja Mantra.

His transformative encounter with Pujya Gurudev Parama Sri Sarvananda Nada from the Himalayas marked a significant milestone, culminating in his initiation into the Sri Vidya Moola Mantra Panchadasi and Sri Vidya Upasana. During this period, he was honored with the sacred name Sadamalananda Nadha, reflecting his complete immersion in the Sri Vidya path.

In 2019, driven by a mission to propagate Sri Vidya teachings, Pujya Gurudev established the Sri Vidya Prachar Samsthan, an institution dedicated to spiritual learning and practice. The Samsthan became a hub for disseminating his extensive knowledge and guiding seekers in Sri Vidya.

A notable practice under his guidance is the Sri Chakra NavaavarNa Pooja, held monthly on Purnima. This ritual involves creating and adorning the Sri Chakra with vibrant colors or flowers, serving as a profound spiritual connection for devotees.

Throughout his life, Pujya Gurudev undertook significant pilgrimages, visiting all 12 Jyotirlingas, most of the 18 Shakti Peethas, and other sacred sites, including Amer Kailash, Adhi Kailash, and Char Dham. These journeys were transformative, further enriching his spiritual teachings.

Pujya Gurudev Sadamalananda Nadha’s life exemplifies the power of devotion and spiritual knowledge. His journey from Hyderabad to becoming a revered spiritual leader continues to inspire many on the path of Sri Vidya. His legacy, through his teachings and the Sri Vidya Prachar Samsthan, remains a guiding light for countless seekers.

Pujya Gurudev practices and promotes Sri Vidya in the Dakshinaacara Sudha Satvika Vaidika Padhati.
