Agartala, Sept 15:
The TIPRA Motha Party has announced the formation of Booth, Village Council, and TTAADC Constituency (Block) level Election Management Committees across Tripura ahead of the upcoming Village Council elections.
The decision was confirmed through an official notification issued on Monday by party president B.K. Hrangkhawl. TIPRA Motha founder Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma has also endorsed the move.
Observers have been appointed to oversee the process in 15 TTAADC constituency blocks. Key appointments include Dolly Reang for Damchharra–Jampui, Ratish Tripura for Machmara, Philip Kumar Reang for Dasda–Kanchanpur and Ganganagar–Gandachharra, Rajeshwar Debbarma for Chhawmanu and Manu–Chailengta, and Manab Debbarma for Raima Valley.
The observers will coordinate with district and block presidents of TIPRA Motha and its frontal organisations, including the Young TIPRA Federation (YTF) and TIPRA Women’s Federation (TWF). They have been instructed to extend full cooperation in forming committees at all levels.
As per the notification, the final list of committee members must be submitted to Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya on or before October 14, 2025.
Party leaders stated that the restructuring will strengthen grassroots preparations for the Village Council elections in TTAADC areas.
