Following the molestation incident reported yesterday in A.D. Nagar, members of the Tripura Indigenous Students Forum (TISF), under the guidance of Bubagra Pradyot Bikram Manikya DebBarma, visited the victims and their family to offer support and assess the situation.
During the visit, TISF warriors held discussions with the victims and their relatives, ensuring that their concerns were heard. The team also met with A.D. Nagar Police officials to follow up on the investigation and the progress of the case.
Later, the TISF delegation visited the West Agartala Women’s Police Station to engage with law enforcement authorities regarding the incident. According to officials, the culprit has been arrested, and TISF has called for the strictest action against him under the law.
Speaking on the occasion, TISF representatives emphasized the importance of community vigilance and support for victims of crime, highlighting that timely intervention and collaboration with authorities are essential in ensuring justice.
