Tripura BJP Unit Sends Relief Materials to Violence-Hit Manipur

The Tripura unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has extended support to the people of violence-hit Manipur by sending relief materials. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha flagged off a lorry carrying essential commodities, including food items, from the state BJP office. The relief items, weighing approximately 25 tons, will be handed over to the Manipur unit of the BJP. The assistance comes in the wake of ethnic violence in Manipur, which led to the establishment of temporary relief camps and the evacuation of Tripura students studying in the affected state.

The Tripura BJP unit has demonstrated solidarity with the people of Manipur by providing relief materials to assist them during their time of crisis. According to Chief Minister Saha, approximately 25 tons of relief items have been sent to Manipur in the flagged-off vehicle. The flagging-off event was attended by various dignitaries, including Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation Dipak Majumder, Chairman of TIDC Nabadal Banik, BJP State General Secretary Papia Dutta, and others.
