Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha on Friday praised the Centre for continued Tripura inclusive development support, saying strong coordination with the Union government has accelerated growth across sectors. Addressing a public programme, the Chief Minister said Tripura has recorded steady progress in infrastructure, connectivity, and welfare delivery due to focused central assistance.

He noted that the Centre’s emphasis on inclusive development has helped address long-standing challenges linked to geography and connectivity. According to Saha, Tripura is no longer seen as a remote frontier but as an active participant in the national growth process.

The Chief Minister said development initiatives now reach people at the grassroots level. This approach, he added, has strengthened public confidence in governance and policy execution.

Tripura CM highlights Centre’s role in inclusive growth

Speaking at the event, Manik Saha said Tripura inclusive development support has improved living standards across urban and rural areas. He stated that the Centre’s development vision aligns closely with the state government’s priorities.

Saha highlighted the effective implementation of welfare schemes linked to housing, healthcare, nutrition, and social security. These schemes, he said, have benefited women, workers, and older people. As a result, access to essential services has expanded steadily.

He also noted that the Centre’s regular engagement with northeastern states has ensured quicker decision-making. Consequently, Tripura has been able to plan projects with clarity and confidence.

Tripura inclusive development support boosts connectivity

Connectivity remains a major pillar of growth, the Chief Minister said. He added that Tripura inclusive development support from the Centre has reduced isolation and improved access to markets.

Saha highlighted progress in national highway projects and rural road expansion. These improvements have eased travel for residents and traders. Therefore, farmers and small entrepreneurs can now move goods more efficiently.

Rail connectivity has also improved significantly. According to the Chief Minister, better rail links have strengthened trade routes and passenger movement. In addition, airport development has enhanced Tripura’s connection with major Indian cities. As a result, tourism and business activity have increased.

Welfare initiatives strengthen social development

Manik Saha said Tripura inclusive development support has strengthened social development through effective welfare delivery. He stressed that healthcare initiatives have improved service availability across the state.

Hospitals have seen upgrades in facilities and staffing. This progress has reduced the need for residents to seek treatment outside Tripura. Therefore, access to affordable healthcare has improved.

The Chief Minister also highlighted progress in education and skill development. Central assistance, he said, has helped modernise schools and training centres. Young people are now gaining skills suited to current job markets. As a result, employment opportunities within the state have expanded.

Balanced growth with sustainability in focus

Saha underlined the importance of balanced development. He said Tripura inclusive development support has allowed the state to pursue growth without harming the environment.

Projects linked to renewable energy, water conservation, and sustainable livelihoods have gained momentum. The Chief Minister said these initiatives promote long-term resilience. Moreover, community involvement has remained a key focus.

He also stressed the importance of preserving local culture. Programmes supporting indigenous art, crafts, and traditions continue to receive encouragement. These efforts, he said, ensure that development respects Tripura’s cultural identity.

Public participation vital for progress

The Chief Minister said inclusive development depends on public participation. He urged citizens to engage actively with government initiatives and local planning efforts.

According to Saha, transparency and accountability help ensure that benefits reach intended beneficiaries. Therefore, the state government continues to prioritise responsive governance and efficient service delivery.

He added that citizen cooperation strengthens the impact of Tripura inclusive development support. When people participate, development becomes sustainable and inclusive.

Centre-state coordination shapes Tripura’s future

Concluding his address, Manik Saha reiterated his appreciation for the Centre’s continued commitment to Tripura’s progress. He said strong Centre-state coordination has created a solid foundation for future growth.

The Chief Minister expressed confidence that inclusive policies and improved connectivity would unlock new opportunities. With sustained Tripura inclusive development support, the state is well-positioned to emerge as a growth hub in the Northeast.

As Tripura moves forward, Saha said collective effort and central cooperation will remain crucial. His remarks reflected optimism about building a more connected, equitable, and prosperous future for the state.
