Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha arrived in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, today to attend the prestigious International Conference at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU). The event brings together experts, policymakers, and academicians from across India and abroad to discuss advancements in forensic sciences and their role in strengthening justice delivery systems.
During his visit, the Chief Minister highlighted the importance of forensic science in modern governance and law enforcement. He emphasized that the discipline not only plays a critical role in solving crimes but also contributes to the efficiency and transparency of the justice system. Tripura, under his leadership, has been focusing on upgrading scientific and technological infrastructure, and his participation in the conference reflects the state’s commitment to adopting new innovations for better governance.
Visit to Akshardham Temple
Alongside the conference, Dr. Saha also visited the world-renowned Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple in Gandhinagar. The temple, known for its architectural magnificence and spiritual significance, attracts thousands of visitors from around the globe each year.
At Akshardham, the Chief Minister engaged in a meaningful interaction with Swami Anand Swaroop Ji, Mahant of the temple. Dr. Saha described the conversation as deeply enriching, noting that the Swami’s profound wisdom and spiritual insights left a lasting impression on him.
“I was truly inspired by the knowledge and guidance shared by Swami Anand Swaroop Ji. Spirituality is a guiding force in personal as well as collective growth. I have invited him to visit Tripura and join us in our shared journey of spirituality and development,” Dr. Saha said.
Emphasis on Spiritual and Social Growth
The Chief Minister’s outreach reflects his broader vision of blending technological progress with cultural and spiritual enrichment. While attending an international conference on scientific advancements, he also underscored the value of spiritual wisdom in shaping inclusive and holistic development.
By inviting Swami Anand Swaroop Ji to Tripura, Dr. Saha hopes to strengthen the cultural and spiritual fabric of the state. Such engagements, he noted, can inspire citizens to embrace values of peace, unity, and moral growth alongside material progress.
A Balanced Vision for Tripura
The visit to Gujarat symbolizes Dr. Saha’s balanced approach—focusing on science and technology on one hand, and spirituality and tradition on the other. As Tripura continues to chart its course of development, the Chief Minister has consistently emphasized the importance of combining modern innovation with cultural heritage to build a prosperous and harmonious society.
The International Conference at NFSU is expected to provide new insights into forensic applications that could be adopted in Tripura. Meanwhile, his spiritual engagement at Akshardham reflects his effort to keep the state’s growth journey rooted in values, ethics, and cultural pride.
