The Government of Tripura is working in a mission mode to ensure that the benefits of its flagship schemes reach every citizen of the state, Chief Minister Manik Saha has said.
The CM was addressing a gathering of government officials and representatives of civil society organizations at a workshop on the implementation of flagship schemes in Tripura. He said, “The government is committed to ensuring that no one is left behind in the journey of development. We are working with a sense of urgency and in a mission mode to extend the benefits of our flagship schemes to every citizen of the state.”
He highlighted some of the key flagship schemes of the government, such as the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY), the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), the Pradhan Mantri Sahaj Bijli Har Ghar Yojana (Saubhagya Yojana), the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, and the Skill India Mission.
He said, “These schemes have made a significant impact on the lives of millions of people in Tripura. The PMJDY has provided access to banking services to over 12 lakh people in the state. The PMAY has provided affordable housing to over 1 lakh people. The Saubhagya Yojana has provided electricity connections to over 5 lakh households. The Swachh Bharat Abhiyan has made Tripura cleaner and more hygienic. The Skill India Mission has trained over 50,000 youth in the state.”
The CM also emphasized the importance of effective implementation of flagship schemes. He said, “The success of any scheme depends on its effective implementation. We have put in place a robust monitoring and evaluation mechanism to ensure that our flagship schemes are implemented effectively and efficiently in Tripura.”
He urged government officials and representatives of civil society organizations to work together to achieve the goal of extending the benefits of flagship schemes to every citizen of the state. He said, “We can achieve this goal only if we work together with a sense of dedication and commitment.”
