Tripura Natural Gas Company Limited (TNGCL) has revised the prices of CNG and PNG across the state, effective April 2. The company took this step after gas procurement costs increased.
As a result, consumers in multiple districts will now pay higher fuel prices. The revision affects domestic users, transport operators, commercial establishments, and industries.
In West Tripura district, TNGCL raised the price of CNG from ₹82 to ₹85.15 per kg. Similarly, in Gomati district, the price increased from ₹86.80 to ₹89.95 per kg. These changes directly impact vehicle owners who depend on CNG.
Meanwhile, domestic PNG consumers in West Tripura will now pay ₹44.41 per standard cubic metre (SCM), up from ₹42.30 per SCM. In addition, residents in government quarters will pay ₹49.12 per SCM instead of ₹47.02.
